How far was your average Antelope shot?

My pronghorn stats from 15 I have witnessed:

Average: 233 yards
Median: 250 yards
Minimum: 40 yards
Maximum: 450 yards

I think shot distance varies more due to where you are hunting. The land contour is critical. Some areas have hills with short distances between them and some have great distance between. If you can get out of their sight line you can stalk in much closer for the shot. I shot my first antelope at 75 yards after a 2 mile stalk. There was a drainage that allowed me to get out of his vision. When hunting around Sheridan, Wy there wasn't much to hide behind to stalk in. The antelope seemed to get out in the middle of hills. They could spot you at 2,000 yards. As soon as they saw you heading their way they would move over the next hill. You will never chase down an antelope.

The antelope here will run if you spook them at 100yds, but past about 300yds, they quit worrying and stop running. I shot both my does this year at 300 and 350. My buck was distracted and I shot him right at 100yds.

I shot one at 25 yards, one at 350 yards, and couldn’t shoot a handful between 75 and 200 yards cause i didnt have a buck tag.

Go sit on a hill and they’ll walk right up to you if you sit still.
