How does everyone pack there Leuko tape?

Wrap some around my trekking pole. Also keep some duct tape and electrical tape wrapped on there as well. Never know when you’ll need it!

I keep small rolls for lightweight trips. No matter what, it always loses too much stickiness for me if it's wrapped around something else or on sticker backing.

I just try to use the full size rolls around the house. With three young boys, I can use up half of a roll pretty quick and save the rest. They're always needing a "super-duper bandaid!"

If you use wax paper, to create precut strips, be careful what you choose to use. I used generic cheap wax paper and it fell victim to the adhesive and the tape did not peel off cleanly, rendering it useless. Going to try the label paper moving forward. My suggestion is to test peeling it off prior to heading out!

Duct tape and electrical tape around a bic lighter. Leukotape around a plastic pill bottle that has "all the meds".

I have 2 rolls of tape. One old and one new. I pre wrap my feet before a hunt and have a much smaller old roll of tape in my pack. Eventually, the new roll becomes the old roll and I buy a new roll.

I stick strips on old sticker backings. You can get label paper from an office supply store or use the address stickers from the post office.

This is quite important. If you wrap it around a pen or the other options listed it loses a lot of stick and is a total mess to try to get clean flat pieces for fixing feet.

Around a travel size ibuprofen bottle that also holds various meds. Duct tape on the lighter, electrical on trekking poles, and a 6" strip of gear aid tape. Used them all for this or that over the years.

I put 18" or so on the bottle. But it needs changed out regularly or it won't stick. Pre, mid and late and I haven't had issues and have a mile of the stuff, better safe than sorry.

Like others I cut strips of wax paper (no issues so far getting it off any of the wax paper I have used) and then just roll those up on themselves. Much better than rolling it on to itself and fighting to get it back off.

I wrap a couple feet around a .223 case and then place that in a plastic bag, works perfect

I use a Dramamine “travel size” bottle. It’s where I put ibuprofen and any other meds. Wrap Leuko and electrical tape around the bottle.

Personally, I consider Leukotape an absolute necessity so I don’t skimp and am willing to pack a few extra ounces. IME, new/fresh LT has legendary sticking power and lasts many days after being applied. When re-rolled on something it still may work but will not be as adhesive as on the original role. If not wanting to carry a roll, I’d suggest packing whatever re-rolled strips one wants to take to the field, but to take the new role and leave it with the gear/cases you’re not taking to the field.

On the morning of the bush flight I apply fresh, pristine LT to all of my high friction areas (especially back of heels) prior to putting on my hunting socks and boots. Folks who haven’t used it before might be shocked at how long it lasts. I can usually make it though most, if not the entire hunt - and will only re-apply if a section begins to peel off.

Headed to the Yukon next month and the above will be my LT solution.
