How do you carry all this stuff?

I just got a nice condition T/C Omega as my first muzzleloader and I'm looking forward to bringing it to the range, how do you all store/carry your muzzleloading supplies? I didn't realize how much stuff would be involved, as far as cleaning supplies, powder, pellets, bullets, primers, bullet starter, etc....was looking into the MTM Muzzle Loader Dry Box, but was wondering if that was worth the $23, or if a regular home depot tool box would suffice for $13, then figure out a way to add a seal to it?

I use a cheap generic Costco or Home Depot Plastic bin with lid. That’s what I use for rifle and archery range stuff too. Once upon a time I used hinged lid shooting boxes but somewhere along the line I started using simple bins.

I use a Alaskan guide creations bino harness. Everything fits great in all the compartments.

I use a small plastic tote to store it at home and for road trips.

Carry what i need when hunting in a fanny pack. Usually 3 shots: primers, speedloaders, and bullet starter. Not sure if anything else is actually necessary.

I have one of the the MTM boxes or similar. Worth every penny of $23 dollars. If you can find something similar for less money buy it. Just make sure it has decent hinges/locking tabs. Also the upper tray or dividers are nice. Once you get to shooting a bit you will narrow down what is needed in a box. Small pack of patches, pipe cleaner, a few qtips, your choice of cleaning solvent/agent, Bullets, Powder/pellets (pre measured powder tubes).

I don't use a bullet starter and never have. Also, buy your self a nice one piece range rod for cleaning and a range rod for pushing bullets instead of taking your ram rod in and out all the time.

As far as headphones/ear pro, targets, stapler, etc. I have a separate range bag I have loaded up with general range stuff so whether I am pistol shooting, rifle, or MZ I grab that bag.

I keep everything in a plastic coffee container. One small container and I'm good to go. After a while you'll slim things down.

Damn boy!

What would those two tubs of BH 209 be worth right now !!! LOL

I admire your organization. Not that I have any goals, but it is admirable.

To answer the OP's question, I have a small zippered pouch that most all my ML supplies fit it. It goes nicely in my pack if I'm hunting and hangs the pegboard above my workbench when I'm not. Otherwise, I have side saddle on my stock that holds 3 tubes of powder and a 4th tube with three sabots and bullets in it, for reloading.

I try to keep thing simple.

That's just one box for going to the range where I'll spend most of the day. One box for the Atlas bipod, another for the chronograph, the Pelican, a box of targets, tape and a staple gun with extra staples. I'm certain I'm forgetting something........

Yeah, those big bottles of BH are like a savings account. :)
To add to the savings account............

Then this is like having a handful of gold! ;)

Small tackle/tool box for the range. And a small stock pouch for a few tubes of powder, bullets, primers and bullet starter for the field. That way everything I need to fire the gun is attached to the gun.
