Not only is it hot but it’s also early. Just because you’re ready to talk doesn’t mean the elk are. I’m not Elknut so I stay quiet and keep my eyes and ears wide open and enjoy the mountains.
May be they migrate into the area a little later? Not sure why, but where I hunt it produces raghorns and spikes. The big bulls show up sometime after the 10th. We pretty much never have them sneaking in quiet. The big bulls we get on respond to a call and then we go after them.
That's probably a lot less disruptive than all those same folks blowing their guts out on a bugle tube while stomping all over the mountain.I'll be at work sulking because I don't get to hunt until October. My guess is every Tom, Dick, and Harry will be sitting wallows and water.
What the heck, you might as well do the "Doug Flutie" concerto #1 in B minor.Ripping bugles everywhere just like BRO
Mixing in the hoochie mama b/c no one else has one now that the supply chain is wrecked
Wind at my back, sun in my (painted) face, ready for action
Same plan for my oldest son and I, mule deer or antelope, something we can get to the cooler fast enough to not be concerned with losing meat.Lowest temp for the first 4 days is 97-98....so Im going antelope hunting
That’s called “picking on the less fortunate bulls” targeting the oppressed, and exploiting the weak… if you humanize the BRO strategy, it’s very racist, and drawing the bow could be considered a hate crime by many circles… walking by all of the bulls who are more fortunate, targeting the slow and oppressedRipping bugles everywhere just like BRO

We are basically the Jeffery Epstein's of the natural world. We lure them in with sexy calls, then blast them in the heart. At least we don't pretend they killed themselves. That’s called “picking on the less fortunate bulls” targeting the oppressed, and exploiting the weak… if you humanize the BRO strategy, it’s very racist, and drawing the bow could be considered a hate crime by many circles… walking by all of the bulls who are more fortunate, targeting the slow and oppressed
Only if the ears are tucked.People don’t realize that the flat bill is the ultimate in scent jamming technology
Come to ColoradoBeen bugling bulls from the end of august thru September for 45 years, haven’t seen a reason to change yet.
