Can't get away from these freaking things. Already taken 4 from this sounder. They just keep coming back for more.
Same. I’m in Central FL and am always willing to lend a helping hand.I’m in FL, let me know if you need help knocking them back
It's not when is deer season. The club I'm in is full of hogs once they find the corn, they won't leave. They are program to the feeder so they don't need far from it and once they here it they run to it. It's annoying. It's got to be 5-6 hogs per deer.Sounds like a fun problem to have.
Lol yes they have but it's not much though. Maybe 3.5lbs per feed time. Only 2x a day.Fat little butter balls too. They've been eating a lot of your corn I bet.
If you look close, behind the feeder is a water hole. That's where the feeder used to be. I'm sure once the rain starts again this will be another water hole.Looks fun to be but can see how you'd get rather sick of them. They can sure tear stuff up.
I need to get a trap out there possibly. That's probably the only way. Picking them off 1 or 2 at a time will take a while.Same. I’m in Central FL and am always willing to lend a helping hand.

The traps they're referring to are like a 6 with cattle panels or hog panels and t-posts. You pin the loop open on the 6 and feed and let them get comfortable coming and going, then you close the loop in the 6 and when they show up they push it open to enter but then it springs back closed. You'll end up catching the whole sounder with a trap like that because they all push in as they're used to going in to feed, but when they try to push out they can't because the angle is reversed. It works great, easy to setup and move because you just haul the panels separately and slam the t-posts in where you want them. You can even put it around your feeder if you use hog panels because deer and other game can just jump in and out.Yeah I'm thinking about using a buddies trap. It's big just really heavy to deal with.
Yeah. I just don't have the money to fork out like that. Not even sure I'm getting back into the lease next year. This is just ridiculous. I went the other night and got one, maybe two. Just couldn't find the other one. The were lined up straight. 4 hours later the same sounder came back and ate the remaining corn.Have seen trapped hogs climb right over a 4 ft high livestock panel. Neighbor built a round pen (corral) with a cell phone activated gate and game camera, would feed until entire was in and then close the gate. successfully trapped all the hogs in a several square mile area. Hunting is totally ineffective and smaller traps they learn to avoid.
