Hilleberg Yellow Label Footprint?

What do you guys think about the footprint for a yellow label? Is it really needed for someone who uses the tent for 2 weeks per year?

Would not bother at all - they use an extremely robust floor material, something like 80d or so in weight. Just watch where you pitch it and don’t worry.

I did some research on this when I bought my Hilleberg and saw reviews saying the floor is pretty sturdy without a footprint. It was a big investment though, so I'm not sure I would cut out the footprint unless every ounce mattered.

I had one for my akto, and i liked it for the akto because the vestibule area was covered which was nice to have an extra area to keep stuff clean. I thought i read somewhere that the footprint also helped reduce condensation, with that extra layer of material on the ground.
