Hill Style/ASL Longbows Anyone?

Got this Bivouac Union Jack ASL a few weeks ago. Getting it setup with some Doug Fir wood arrows 50-55 and 55-60 are both flying pretty good at 20. Almost there.
Did you build the woodies or order them?

I don’t mean to disrail but what did u use to seal them with, I’ve tried some sprays from minwax but it’s been so so

I didn’t have good luck with sprays either. But I’ve had good luck with the dip tubes using both True North and Minwax. I like the True north better because it dries much quicker and doesn’t have much of a smell

Fine tuning the Union Jack ASL with point weight. Dougfir 55-60 at 20 yards. I will shoot these combos for sometime to get it all dialed in.

With the bow quiver on the 190s did well. I didn’t try the 125 as they would have been way stiff.

Bivouac Union Jack ASL #2 Green glass on the back Gray on the belly. DF 50/55 with 160 and 55/60 with 190 point are shooting pretty good. Groups at 20 and 28 yards.
