High water and wet conditions in the Brooks

It's another wet August with extremely high rivers and lake levels in the Brooks, from Kotz to Canada. Prepare for weather contingencies and possible logistics upset if you're hunting North this season. Try to be patient with your pilots. The ones I've spoken to haven't seen water this high since 1994.

Brush up on your meat care in wet and humid environments just in case.
