Help with bullet selection for new tikka in .243

I've been loading the 107 tmk. But It took a little tinkering to find a load I considered good enough for me ( I wanted 10 shots under an inch). It still wasnt bad though.

The 108 eldm is kinda the easy button on the heavier / higher BC end of things. They just shoot in almost every gun.

Depending where you are elevation, DA , weather & all that the 116 might be on the edge of what the 1:8 will do.
Yeah I’m at 4-600ft elevation here at home so -500 - 2,500 da depending on time of year
I think the 116 would probably be marginal

Is the 103 eldx similar in ease of loading to the 108 eldm?

No personal experience with the 103. As a whole I do prefer the eldm over the eldx. I've shot quite a bit of both.
If I were you, based on your use case, home conditions, and having to have the old man do an "easy" work up. Id go 108 eldm and call it a day.

I’d try to push the Berger EOL 108s they aren’t really picky with seating depth and they should stabilize with a 1-8 twist as long as you aren’t shooting slow
