Help me wrap my head around AB equipment

After what I said about platform and getting in close… I have this to say about tech. We used OnX this year to navigate up a ridge we’d picked out the afternoon before, in the pitch dark at 4 in the morning. It was awesome.
I purchased a subscription to OnX Hunt through ExpertVoice and it's quite a powerful set of tools. E-scouting is such a cool thing. I thought AllTrails was cool planning backpacking trips, but OnX maps are superior, by far.

No, I was agreeing with you, but it didn't come off that way. I've watched guys buy gear, complain they cant hit anything, buy different gear, rinse, repeat. Getting squadded with those guys at a match is a test of patience.
Ah, right on man. Sorry for the miaunderstanding.

It bothers me a lot too hearing my buddies complain about "I can't go to X match 'cause I don't have Y optic yet". Just get out and shoot dude. 95% of the time the winners of their division would still be the winners if they were stuck with using basic equipment.

The only time equipment cost me points was when guns wouldn't feed, scopes failed, and ran first barrel too long and it went at a match. Other than those, all lost points are on me. He'll, even some of the feeding issues were on me. Some were savage issues before I could afford better. I would have everything working and then it would quit working. I had a bag full of extra extractors and springs, and ejector springs. I had less than $2k including optic in my first rig lol.
