I'm looking to get a pair of model 70's scopes mounted where I never need to worry about it again.

One is a BACO 338 win mag with a swfa 3-15 in Talley lightweights. Its my do everything rifle and the only one I really use a lot. Wont be changing the scope any time soon. Heavy scope, plenty recoil, don't really trust the lightweights.

Other is a NH super express .375 h&h with no scope or mounts at the moment. It has the narrow hole spacing (0.330" i think) on the rear bridge. Its going to get some flavor of lpvo, probably a trijicon accupoint but not decided yet.

Your best bets are either a picatinny rail bonded to the actions with Loctite 380, or the Leupold Back Country rings/base 1 piece bonded to the action with Loctite 380.

Ive started hating aluminum from some bad experiences at work.

Nah. Not in this application. However, the best ones were the Burris XTR Two piece pic rails. The were still, and very low profile… so naturally Burris stopped making them. I would, and do- search the internet and find them when I need pic rails for M70’s.
