Heavy 6mm TMK. When we getting one?

I have reached out to Sierra a couple of times and requested they consider making a heavy 6mm TMK (115-120 Grains). I was wondering how many other guys have reached out? What do you think the odds of getting one are?

I'd personally be more excited for a 107-110. Less excited about a bullet that might need more than the 7.5 twist that all my 6mm barrels have.

The 6um wouldn’t be totally complete without a heavy TMK. My guess is it has to be coming. Just a guess.

Sierra seems pretty good about making bullets if you order enough.

I am hoping they make one. I am considering a 6mm build, and I am debating about a 1/7 twist just in case they do.

Agreed - I don't care for a super heavy TMK that won't work in the barrels I currently have.

That said, I'd just like to find some 95 TMKs. Sierra originally said they'd be on the shelves in Jan '25. Sent them an email last week and they were bumped and won't be ran until Q4 this year.

I thought there was some debate on whether it was a TGK or a TMK. 107 TMK would likely be great. 107 SMK seem to be a forgiving bullet.

If I remember correctly the 107 coming out wasn’t a TMK. It was described as an ELDM and a Berger hybrid having a baby. I could be wrong though.

I can't imagine the carnage that bullet will create with a 6um.

Hmmm.... Resupply on 108eld or wait it out for 107tmk?

I'm guessing they don't do a huge run and they're gone immediately then incredibly hard to get.

Either way.... Someone send a box to JVB!

It's not a TMK; imagine if an ELD-M and a Berger Hybrid had a baby. There is also a 142g 6.5, but I didn't hear the weight of the .223.

Huh. Sierra has a 107 SMK that is a typical HPBT design that shoots well and is relatively slick. Only thing i can imagine with that odd mashup is a slight hybrid ogive tweak and a different tip? Just seems like an odd way to describe it.

Hopefully it’ll be sooner rather than later. I have plenty of other projectiles to use, but the 95 TMK has been on my radar for a while. Guess I’ll keep waiting!
