I'll second this. I've been using these since they first came out. They are expensive, but they are far, far superior to MH etc in terms of nutrient density and calories from Fat. Every single ingredient has a nutrient contribution. They taste pretty dang good, too. I've said it before on here, but the Buckwheat breakfast is the perfect backcountry hunter's breakfast because there is enough carbs to get you up the mountain and enough fat to keep you warm once you get there. I agree that these meals are true "game changers" for the purposes of our backcountry hunting niche market where every ounce counts and athletic performance is paramount.

Prices are higher then I expected......But maybe worth it for a change. Even if it's just a few meals over the course of the hunt.

How does it compare to Apline Air and Backcountry's pantry. I've been pretty pleased with these companies and they offer lots of gluten free options.

I like some of the Alpine Aire meals and still use them mixed in with Heather's Choice meals. Still, you have to consider that her meals are >40% fat from calories. On most mainstream brands, you're looking at 10-20% cal from fat at best, but there are a couple of alpine Aire meals that hit ~30% calories from fat.
