We love our riding mules! Even as much as we love our mules we love our mammoth donkeys. Their temperament and surefooted nature make them a safe and comfortable ride in the backcountry.I will say, with limited exposure to both backcountry horses and mules, I much preferred the ride and temperament of the mules I’ve ridden and packed with compared to the horses.
Jon,If you guys get permitted on the Gallatin or beaver head I know a lot of people that would most certainly use this service. Almost makes me want to plan some hunts in the L&C knowing this is an option. It’s too damn hard to find a packer these days
