Title says it all. I'm getting on a plane to tomorrow to start making my way through several connection to Cordoba, Argentina. We'll have five days of dove shooting. It seemed like bringing a gun was a lot of effort, and the lodge claims to be well stocked with Benellis and Berettas, so I am going to rent a gun.

Has anyone been? Anything to watch out for? Anything you didn't bring with you but wished you did?

My buddy went and used the supplied gun. He said his second biggest expense was the ammo. If you use their gun you have to buy their ammo.

I've been and will be going back soon. They have great guns that are exceptionally well cared for. The last thing they want to have happen is a gun not work. Gun doesn't work=you're not shooting as much=they make less money. I would pick up a padded shooting shirt if at all possible. My first trip I didn't take one and I regretted it by the end of day 2., and I shoot fairly often but never at the volume I have done down there. I did learn how to shoot left-handed just to give my right shoulder a break!
