For this rifle I really don't care about weight. It should end up around 9-10lbs. I have a tikka in 7-08 for when I need lightweight Big Game, and a .17 around 6lbs if I need lightweight varmint.

Ordered a once piece weaver 20 moa rail yesterday. Also found a B&C sporter on eBay for a savage LA. I offered $180 and it was accepted. Hoping the stock is a described by the seller, and fits. It is black with gray web.
