Thanks swede, thats exactly what I was wondering. I figured the higher you go the better. I think im going to try this out, I think I have a real good spot for it.
In my stomping grounds the bulls are very call shy due to the fact of all the other hunters. We have found the first couple of weeks of the season we are better off sitting in a stand over a wallow or water source. The bulls are not "cowed up" yet and are not really fired up. Once they pick up there cows its game on time to run and gun. I have killed several bulls out of a stand and think everyone should have one in there bag of tricks. I know it's not for everyone but as long as it keeps working for me I am going to keep doing it. I will try and post a pic of one of my bulls I killed off a wallow a couple of years ago.
