Moby Dick is a good one. The book is utter garbage but most movie versions seem pretty good.

One of the best. The Savage Wild is pretty entertaining as well.

Last of the Mohicans has a cool opening muzzleloader deer hunt.

Alpha, that tells the story of the first prehistoric humans partnering with wolves to hunt was entertaining for the whole family I thought.

Death Hunt, with Charles Bronson & Lee Marvin, was an interesting movie about a manhunt for a guy that lives off the land by trapping & hunting.
