Portable electric generator

Hey guys
In my quest to make a somewhat temp solution to take care of some business, as well as pleasure trips to some festivals, blues fest , and uncle pen days in bean blossom ( I am a acoustic bluegrass old timey) person
I know what main generator I want , but also want a elec powered back up, small heater , fan, run laptop for movies in back of truck
I harbor freight had my eye, but several others on Amazon , goofy names are much more affordable
Yes I know all made in china
Question is, it it worth spending more for a harbor freight whole two miles away or an another with the same “. Warranty “ off Amazon

It sounds like you are wanting a battery pack, not a generator? 300w isn’t going to run a heater or ac. It will work to charge a laptop and run led lights and stuff for a limited time depending on how much solar you hook up to it.


I have this one in my homemade camper. We can run lights, fan, and charge phones for a weekend easily. The solar panels that came with it are not great so you need full sun if you want to truly recharge it. The thing is about the size of a small kids lunch box and weighs nothing. I have no complaints.

The electric heater will definitely be your biggest power draw. For everything else, like lights, phone charging, or small electronics a small sized power station should be more than enough. You can also recharge it with your generator if needed.

Ya thats called a battery pack .. "electric generator" so it's electric generating electricity... that's redundant
