Looking at a job in Granby, CO what is it like there? Good hunting near by? Other recreational opportunities? Cost of living? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
My sister lives there. Small town for sure but a little over two hours to Denver. Lots of outdoor recreation. Sol vista and winter park for skiing. Grand lake for boating. Near the head waters of the Colorado river. Hot springs about 30 minutes away. Close to lots of national forest hunting opportunities.
Jobs are tough to find. Cost of living is high because of proximity to resorts. Mountain living in Colorado is expensive, the price of paradise.
Great place to grow up lived there for till I was 33. Jobs are hard to come by and cost of living doesn't equal pay. If you do get a great job there, it has great hunting and lots to do. Fishing boating hiking in rocky Mt. National park and skiing
