Here you go. The big winners list. Summery the RNC/DNC and their donor class score a huge win. America take it in the rear once again.
They know as long we fall into the party the line on either side the politicans and their corporate partners can get away with any amount of thievery.

This article covers some of the stuff but if anyone finds a reliable cliff notes on the pork from both sides, please share.

The House will vote on the bill tomorrow (Friday), and if Pelosi dont screw it up, it will go to Trump Friday afternoon/evening and he will sign it ..... from there it will be around 3 weeks or less and the funds will be available ... if a person/family received a IRS payment back via direct deposit from 2018/2019 THAT is how you will get the payment, it will be followed up with a letter asking if you got it ... if you received a check in 2018/2019 that is how you will get the payment ....

It doesn't really matter what people spend the checks on. The point is that they do spend it and NOT save it. It's meant to stimulate the economy. Quite a few people don't need the checks. Everyone one of use here has a different financial situation and whether its a TV, gun, new gear, etc. It wont matter. As long as it's getting spent.
I wish everyone understood this. Unfortunately, people will likely save it or blow it on foreign-made bullshit. The rule in my house it that ALL the money goes towards American companies, preferably local to my area/state/region, and made in the US.

EDIT: I don't mean to imply that other countries don't need or deserve our money, it's just the principle that if you are given free money from the govt., you should spend it in a manner that benefits the country.

No offense but my wife and I are probably a paycheck and a half from the street. I'll probably be using this to keep my ass from being homeless

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that spending the money as a consumer is the ONLY way, it's obviously much more important to pay mortgages, groceries, needs, etc. I'm just saying I don't think this is the time to just pocket the money and forget about it, or to spend it on "wants" that aren't helping our own economy.

I got you

My point is for some of us this is our bail out check. My heart goes out to all of the tips workers who lost their jobs and probably won't get unemployment as it would in reality only cover 20-25% of that lost income. Next door neighbor is a single father who bartends to have hours to be home with his kid.

Dudes going to lose his rental next month if he can't catch up.

Agreed. It's a crazy time and I hope it blows over soon somehow.

Truthfully I think its BS that it was incudled in the bill. yes it will free up some liquidity, however it was it was heavily lobbied for and will be farly narrow. No different then some of stupid pork added from the other crime family .

I agree and I have plenty of friends in this boat. However, basically everyone qualifies for unemployment right now. I think with the federal contribution, you’re getting about $1,000 a week in AK if you made over $40,000 last year. The only way they wouldn’t get this cash is if they were cheating on their taxes (not claiming tips) and had almost no way to prove their “income”. So in the end I really do have a hard time feeling bad for my buddies who have been making a tax free living for years screwing over the rest of us paying in. Should they get a benefit they never pay into? Or relief from the government they don’t support?
