My favorite calls are made by glacier country hunting calls. ORANGE ENRAGER makes some great sounds

I only use these calls. The above mentioned, the red ripper, and the watermelon are my go to's. Fantastic elk sounds and troy is a good guy, too. ....and made in MT!!

Love the mellow yellow too, easiest diaphragm I have ever used. The raging bull is really easy to cow call with and great bugle reed. Anybody try Phelps diaphragms? Heard good stuff about them but never tried them.

Since I started Elk hunting in the 80s I have always used a Sceery cow call. It has treated me well over the years and have never changed to a different one.

Mike, we've been having a injection mold system for a New Chuckler since last Nov. - You can see its unique design outside & the inside is corrugated like the old vacuum hose style bugles & like an elks throat. The two noticeable slots 5" apart are for the two silicone tone dampeners. The bugle is aprox .80 thickness, the closest one to it that we miched is .65. This allows for some very high pitched bugles that will reach incredible distances. The mouth opening is 1-1/4" so very nice for mouth reed users. All in all it's a very well built solid elk bugle with unique design. Oh, & notice the camo pattern is of our own design, it's all elk! (grin)
