I usually never have problems staying warm in the Whitetail woods with the exception of my hands. I wanna know what glove or series of glove layers should work with someone whose hands get cold. I have Kuiu gear all around so would prefer to try something from them. But am open to anything that would keep my hands warm. I archery and gun hunt. But most of the year I am archery hunting. Thank you for the input.

Are you hunting from a stand? If so get a hand muff. I hunt archery whitetail here in MN until the end of December and don't use gloves at all. Just throw a couple hand warmers in if it's really cold.

This. I wear some really thin gloves though in case I have to hold my bow for an extended period of time waiting on a shot.

I have the Kuiu down mittens, I wear them with a light pair of liner gloves under them for glassing. They are a somewhat "noisy" fabric and you obviously need to take them off to do anything with your hands but they are warm.

I have bow hunted in -45 windchill for a few hours and many times well below zero and some big warm mittens with liners works well. Leave your release on over the liner and under the mittens.

The muffs sound like the way I might try. I don’t know why I haven’t tried that yet. Thanks for all the replies.

And get some boot blankets while you're at it... game changer if you dont already have a pair!

Both of these are great - helped me a ton this year. I bought the Sitka incinerator muff and the arctic shield boot blankets.
