How is the area around Gilette ? My guide service told me to come out, it's fine. Plenty of tags will be available regardless.

I'm not a trophy guy, so any horns will do. In fact I shoot the 1st one I see.

Is it that bad by Devil's Tower ?

It's been above average winter/cold but for the most part, nothing catastrophic up there. I don't see why you should wait if you're going with a guide service. You'll have fun.

Take a look at the proposed tag quota for your area of interest and see what change is proposed if any. That should give you a very good idea what impact weather has had. Here is the link: Antelope

I've looked at that a lot, as well as charts/graphs/maps of snowfall this winter and historic.

I'd take what someone who benefits from you coming out with a grain or two of salt.

I'll say it for the 50,000,000th time...ZERO reason to kill Antelope and MD does anywhere at anytime. The "any antelope" licenses should be eliminated and licenses should be Buck only.
