Getting a barrel fluted

I had my Tikka 308 barrel cut to 16" and threaded 1/2 28 locally. I am now thinking I would like to have it spiral fluted. Recommendations where to send it? Looking for first hand knowledge. Or is this a bad idea?

Has anyone tried LRI here?

LRI has worked on all of our barrels that we have had fluted. Last 2 were sent together took a WHILE.

LRI will flute with the action on.

Is it a "lite" barrel? If so, I might skip it as suggested above since its 16".

I have a 19" "lite" barrel that feels a little chunky compared to my straight fluted 18" sporter barrel, but its a 22-250 barrel so it will be in the trash soon.

A 308 barrel will be around for a while if you stick with it and should be the way you want it regardless of practicality.
