Get new chasis or spend the money on ammo? What would you do?

I traded an old coyote gun for a Tikka T3 Lite roughneck in .308. I have heard good things about the MDT Oryx chasis but wondering if it's worth it or if the 500 CAD would be better spend on bullets and gas. I am not a complete beginner but far from a pro shooter. Does a new stock make enough difference to justify the gains?

What is the reason you'd want a chassis? The KRG bravo is more appealing to me at a lower price point and lighter weight.

A new stock isnt likely to make the rifle any more mechanically accurate but it might make it easier and more comfortable to shoot accurately.

Does the factory stock not fit you well? Personally I would shoot it a bunch and get familiar with it first. If you get a new stock later on you will have a baseline to compare your shooting to between old and new stock. And another vote for the bravo 👍

I’d buy the stock and force myself to dry fire an extra 1,000 times to get most of the benefit the extra ammo would have given. :)
