Did anyone order the latest batch from Bass Pro/Cabelas?

I ordered 2 days ago but still shows as processing, wondering if they had the wrong numbers or sold them in store.
Yes. Ordered Thursday and says shipped. Hasn’t arrived yet. Estimate window started today. Expecting shortly.

I tried it with archery gear the other day. Used my compound and longbow. I can't wait to try it out with a suppressed rifle. This little thing is legit.

Does Labradar have issues in the rain? I got some questionable readings last outing shooting in a light rain.

Mine has if I don’t use a recoil trigger
The recoil based trigger seems to clear up and rain interference

I use a trigger. It picked up the shots, just seemed to be reading consistently lower than normal.

Im not sure what it was about BUT I did get one odd reading in the rain. was 3000 some fps when the rifle was solidly in the low 2800's. Was the only one oddity thus far.

I’d guess Temp change if it was consistent
My experience In rain is 1/10 will through just a junk velocity like 450fps slow or fast.

For what it’s worth, I had this thing in my cart the day the product was released - but I have a love / hate relationship with Garmin and since I didn’t have an immediate need for a new chrono - I told myself I was going to hold off on this.

As luck would have it, my sweet wife was in the room when I was thinking about getting this chrono, and even though I didn‘t buy it, unbeknownst to me - she ordered it right then for a BD gift.

Fast forward, to this morning and I was surprised to unwrap this chrono for a gift.

In less than 5 minutes, I had this chrono paired to my phone and 3 bow shots recorded.

So far, I’m super impressed with the simplicity and lack of hassles using the Garmin compared to the Caldwell chrono I use for archery (and anticipating the same in comparison to the Magnetospeed that I use at the rifle range).

As far as accuracy, I use the Archer’s Mark application (similar to something like Strelok Pro) on my phone and my tournament bows have sights that use “sight marks” that allow for a very high degree of accuracy when compared to just a generic sight tape. Anyway, I typically take all the measurements off my bow (extensive) enter them into Archer’s Mark, shoot a few arrows through the chrono, to get some sight marks, then go to the range and verify all distances by shooting, then making manual corrections to the distances in Archer’s Mark.

The Caldwell chrono used to get me close, but would off by a few FPS the further out I would shoot (usually 100 yards).

Today, when I check the speeds I got with the Garmin, they were exactly the speed I ended up calibrating my sight marks to in the Archer’s Mark application (283 FPS).
Anyway, I’m excited to use this chrono more, and I impressed with its simplicity and accuracy.

A random challenge for the xero yesterday. I was shooting prone and through the deal on the bumper of my rig. Still picked up the shots. I didnt manage to "defeat" it by trying to get it to read off the hood. Too far off to be triggered. .416 Barrett so no lack of muzzle blast.

Interestingly enough, I really liked my LabRadar and had no issues with it. I was using a recoil sensor pretty early and I think that helped a ton.
But the new Garman is just so much smaller. It’s hard not to like it better just for that fact, alone.

I ran two LabRadars for years. The trigger definite helped a lot, but was annoying when if would fall off and you didn't notice. Also It not timing out at the exact moment you dont want it too is nice.

Interesting I’ve never had mine time out. I was lucky enough to be able to build my own recoil sensor that I had a magnet and it never fell off my gun.
Although I did forget to arm the chronograph a few times collecting exactly 0 data for that string. 😆

Does anyone know if it’s possible to combine sessions? Like shooting one rifle, shooting another, then going back to the first rifle?
