Game bird Mounts

How is that mounted to the wall? I just dropped of a specklebelly and want a similar mount without a piece of wood or whatever behind it. I just want the bird and a real low profile mount.

I bet it’s a ghost hanger. Basically a big wire and a base. Any taxidermist should be able to get them.

So while me and my hunting buddy were setting up for this hunt, I said to him “you know, I’ve been waterfowl hunting for awhile now and haven’t had anything mounted yet”. About an hour or so later, the only 2 birds we saw that day, were these two studs that we both blasted simultaneously and I said “well if that wasn’t a sign to get one of these mounted…”

Awesome, thank you! I never knew such a thing existed but it's exactly what I want. I was going to make something similar....this will be much better. I've been shooting birds for a long time and finally decided to mount something.
