G19 to G26 to G43 to P365 and some in between

I have 3 carry guns I rotate through. However, I rock a P365 MOST of the time with a Next ratcheting belt and a Vedder appendix holster. This setup just works.

I run 12 round mags in mine and have zero issue printing.

Compared to my other carry rigs, the Sig is pretty snappy, but surprisingly, I’m able to shoot it really well and have the upmost confidence when used as my carry piece.

Throw a ramjet/ afterburner on that combo and the snap is GONE. My red dot doesn’t leave the target.

I had to Google your recommendation as I didn’t know what it was. Found that barrel on Midway. That’s about what I paid for the pistol used. I have no doubt it works great. I’ll put it on the “wishlist,” but it’s not a high priority as I have many other irons in the fire. And…like I said, I shoot the pistol well now.

I’m guessing it’s way louder with that setup?

Correct! Louder and concussive, like a brake. Not unbearable at all, but noticeable. I picked one up on a trade deal but otherwise, yes, the price makes a guy stop and think for a while. Worth it? Eh. Realistically, my times on things like a bill drill aren’t drastically faster. But it is pretty fun to just watch your dot hover on the target between shots. Very flat, and I haven’t had a single malfunction with mine.

Fair enough. I think if I put money into that pistol right now, it would be getting the slide milled as it just irons. I like dots and I think that would be more of a priority. Or…buy another P365 with a dot foot print already factory milled and move the one I have now into a secondary truck gun type of role. If only one of those money trees grew in my yard….

I have heard a few times recently that Glock was going to release a 15 round mag for the 43x.
Probably BS but we can only hope.

I would be shocked if they did but if there was one model that they could redo the magazines on it would be the 43x or 48. If they redid the Glock 19 or 17 magazines people would lose it if they weren't backwards compatible.

I love my 43x, but it was so incredibly hamstrung when it comes to capacity compared to other options that I decided to try shield mags or sell it. Bought the shield mags from Scheels for the return policy, but I’ve had zero issues with them. I track my rounds and have shot Armscor 124 gr, Winchester 115, Blazer 124, Federal 115, and of course my carry ammo, Gold Dot 124. Hundreds and hundreds of rounds now, not a single malfunction yet in my gun. So for me, well worth the five minutes to change the mag release and give them a try.

The internet is full of stuff that keeps people from actually trying things themselves, including me. But the experiment paid off. My buddy then bought two and runs them in his gun, no issues 🤷🏼‍♂️

Having medium sized hands I now own 2 365s, one XL with optic and one standard compact. Same story as many here in that they have replaced Glock for me.

Glock 19 is too big? Bruh, I carry a G 34

Need an appendix rig. Tier 1.

Though to be fair the XMacro Tac Ops is more comfortable.

Right now I'm working on my G19. Bought a LW Dusk frame that just came in. I grip chopped the oem frame a long time ago before I discovered appendix carry. But now a little extra grip length isn't anything. Especially after carrying an FN FNX 45 tac

Belts make a larger difference on larger framed guns. I've caried a G19 with RMR and APLC in a tenicor holster appendix for going on 8 years. A few years ago I switched to using the tenicor zero belt and thought it was great for appendix. What I slowly came to discover though was that with that belt it required me to have it tighter then preferred and eventually caused issues where carrying appendix became incredibly uncomfortable for me. The holster would sag and place pressure on my pelvic bone and create almost a sore spot on the bone.

I dealt with this for a long while until finally having enough and pulled out my old Ares Gear Aegis enhanced. I forgot what I was missing and overall comfort increased drastically. With a solid belt (the Aegis is almost duty like) I can have the belt set to a comfortable tightness and still have the support needed to keep the holster up and allow for all day comfort again. I'm back to being able to conceal a 19 even when squeezing my fat ass into a large shirt.

I'm taking a long hard look at a Shadow Systems CR920XP though. Having the same capacity, grip angle, and all the while being slimmer is really looking appealing to me. I've also always preferred longer slide models for carry as I get the tip out effect if I go to short in a slide and is the reason why I've sold off a G43 and G26 in the past.

Wife and I have carried g19's eclusively for 14 yrs each (same age) we bough a 26 and a 43 sometie in there didn'tlike how snappy and annoying they were too shoot, so back to G19, Then, enter the Sig Fuse.... unbelivable and we have both switched, we now have a 10mm a 322 and to Fuse's and don't foresee going back, however my 1911/2011 love is building... but for EDC and fun, the small sigs are very hard to beat.
