I’m using an old Lee breech lock and it’s ok but it has a lot of play in it with those silly bushings. Even when locked in they can move a lot.

Im only reloading for a few calibers and my volumes not crazy. But I am a huge stickler for accuracy and consistency and I like knowing my tools are not a factor in the equation.

So I guess I’m wondering if it’s worth the $350ish bucks (on sale) to move to the Forster knowing I’ll probably use it forever? Or is there another model I should be looking at?

I used mine for 20 years with zero problems. The best press I have used. Gave it to my best friend when I needed to start loading .416 Rigby ammo.

I had been using a Lee press for about 25 years, I got a Forster when I ran into some issues with some hard to form brass. I haven’t used my lee since. The Forster is 100% with the $ in my opinion.

You don’t see many resold, and they sell fast if you want to.

Excellent press in every way. No complaints.

I am goofy and I sold mine to play with a Dillon. Sold it and then went with the All American Turret press. Not sure I miss it that much.

It is the “precision” press and capable of pretty much anything you throw it it.
