Form struck someone’s nerve

I have to give Spomer a little credit. He does talk highly of the 7-08 and 243 and periodically using lower recoil rifles for better shot placement. From the stuff I've heard from him, he still prefers a 7mm RM for elk and moose, but he makes it seem like it's more of his preference and not an absolute. JVB pushes Barnes bullets, browning rifles, Leupold scopes and bigger is better making it sound like nothing else works. That's why I've moved more towards unsponsored podcasts like Exo and Mindful Hunter for a little more unbiased information.
I really like 7-08. I feel like spomer talks about hunting with his 7-08 for quite a few things. And i think he's taken elk with 25-06.

Sorry All. I was fully prepared to take another one for Team RS and do a brief synopsis of today's JVB podcast.

I made it 35 minutes. I would rather suck farts out of roadkilled possums than have to listen to that guy.

I need to own up to not having the mental wallop, cognitive authority, or cortical frontal diameter to make it happen. I guess i need to be less of a piss-ant and to be ready to cowboy up.

Did you try turning the bass all the way down? Less wallop that way.

Two of the most epic posts I’ve seen all day 🤣🤣🤣

This is the first post ive read on here in a while that made me laugh out loud

JVB’s claim it would take decades to shoot over a hundred whitetails shows he isn’t familiar with bag limits in the south. Parts of Tennessee you can shoot 3 does a day every day of a 40ish day season. Depredation permits are pretty easy to get if you are or know a landowner. Depending on how the permit is worded, that can include bucks and those german sheperd sized does. Pretty easy to kill 100s of deer in a couple years if one were to put in the work.

Did he seriously say that?

I know guys killing 100 a year, doing depredation.

Hunters that are killing 12-15 a year, so even without permits, 100 in a decade is pretty easy to hit.

They can, but they actually have reffer trucks and donate it.

Or you can dig a pit and burry. It's wasteful, but if you are on a farm with 75 permits, it's easier to just dig a hole.

It's nothing but work.
Sooooo…. Are you saying you’re inviting us all over for a doe hunt?

I for one don't understand the push back on keeping one's anonymity. Don't many of us do that on here?
In the early days of Forums, my user name was my real name. I kept it that way for years until I got doxed by a forum member when I was a moderator and put a guy on time out when he was drunk posting in anger. I'll still sign my real name to my posts but I keep my personal information vague. Scammers are getting so advanced now that they harvest information from everyone on all platforms so I'll keep my info limited to the open forums.
