I'm also looking forward to getting some details on the MR Metcalf. I heard it has a frame extension for the load lifters similar to the 6500. Hopefully now that it is officially released we can get some more details. I love my Longbow but I need something a little bigger for extended trips.

Mike, we got by Manner's. Great stocks at 24-26 ounces and any Tikka owner should really look at their new stock for 2013.

That EH1 is looking AWESOME! Only 3 days till we get some pre-orders in! :)

These stocks are going to be a total game changer... That EH1 in their standard fill or the comparable B&C Medalist, or McMillan stocks are weighing in around 40 oz... A full pound of weight savings by just going to these new stocks and with their designs and ergonomics will really start to change peoples minds about shooting lightweight guns accurately at long ranges imho.

Mike, have you set your pricing yet?
-Dave

Not yet... PM coming your way shortly.

For those of you wanting to get in on the Manner's I'd be happy to order them for you! Please contact me by email and I'll let you know when I talk to Tom on monday what pricing will be. Wait time on these stocks will be 12-16 weeks and I'm 90% sure they won't come in other colors but you're always welcomed to get them dipped or painted (Manners won't mold in colors or paint as it adds a few ounces).

Mike

I had to call MR about an order I had and asked about the Metcalf so they sent me the 2013 catalog - not sure if this is already out but its the first I have seen it.
I am a bit curious about this one - it looks to be 3600ci to 4500ci and 5lbs 12 oz to 6lbs 15oz which is not the lightest but pretty light for MR especially for the nice frame. The load lifter attachment is higher and they finally have a mid sized pack. There is not any pictures of the inside or access but shows the shape with the NICE lid.

so do the Poseidon pant have shuttles on both ends of the zipper track?

I need rain pants that zip to the hip but also allow me to zip from hip down to vent.

mtbshark, send Jared an email at [email protected] and he'll be able answer all your questions.

Daveinjax, yip, I'm fried but it's been great to see all the gear. I still have more videos to post.

2ski,bbrown and d-bone, stay tuned, I got your MR Metcalf on video with Ryan Holm at their booth and he talked about the load lifters. Should have it up in a bit.

Dw archer, sorry I can't answer that on the Tikka, but when they held the gun up, it was actually mated to a Tikka action/barrel and looked like all the Tikka side-eject/entry rifles I've seen. Just give them a call Monday.

bounds, sorry, I didn't get to the Ruger booth.
