Good ole - Bitzenberger with helical clamp. Mine has an aftermarket spindle I bought years ago, but other than that it's just a standard Bitz.

I just went through this myself. I have Bitz's (but they are all set up to fletch my trad shafts with 5" feathers, so I was hesitant to change the setup and then try to change it all back again). So I bought both the Arizona mini and the Bohning Helix and gave them both a try to see how it went. They both work fine, but on the smaller shaft the Bohning might put a bit to much helical on the vane (depending on what you are looking for). Both share one common problem... since there is no clamping mechanism you have to be very careful to make sure you get the vane placement correct each and every vane. A Bitz solves this because it clamps. In the end, a Bitz is better. It is more expensive, so depending on how many shafts you really fletch that might be a consideration... you could go with the Bohning clamp style jig, or the Helix. I liked the Helix better than the Mini myself.

I use the bitz as well however i am having trouble getting contact along the length of the vane with the shaft. The back of the vanes are too far left with the bottom knob of the jig adjusted as far to the right as it will go. I have played with moving the vane forward a bit as well but need to move it up to the fifth hash mark on my right helical clamp to get solid contact. Anyone else experience this or have any recommendations?

Arizona EZ fletch mini seems to work good for me. I had adhesion issues with my tried and true fletch-tite but Loctite control gel worked like a charm. I don't have any experience with the blitz but from what I have read it's the cats meow for any and all arrows. If you want to do four fletch you will probably want to go with the blitz since it's more difficult to do with the Arizona. Good luck.

I never claimed to be an expert but I have fletched a few arrows in my day. Switched to Injexions this year and Been having problems as well. Used a Bitzh and AZ EZ with Flex Fletch vanes, and an EZ Mini with Blazers, three different kinds if glues and have yet to find a combo that works well....I suck!

I have a bitz and have the same problem as GWBowhunter has. I picked up an ez fletch, 2 actually, 1 mini and 1 regular. I like the ez fletch a lot better. Seems to work great on the VAP's.

Blitz and helical clamp. As always shaft prep is key as well as finding the sweet spot setup wise on the jig.

I have been very happy with the Arizona EZ fletch mini, my Bitz has been retired since I got it. The EZ provides a lot of helical and full contact along the length of the vane on the injexions.

Also I think worth noting is the factory crests are junk (my opinion) they seem to get brittle with glue on them in my experience. I'm hoping my Rokslide wraps will solve that problem! P
