Anyone have any experience with these, seems nice to be able to put on when you need it and take off when you don’t?

No experience, but very interesting. The storage box would be nice if it could act as a transport cooler for meat. Take up why less space than coolers.

No experience either but my wife thought it would be a good idea for a topper the first time she saw the ad. I don't have a truck yet but thought the air carrier for my subaru could be nice.

That’s awesome
What are your likes and dislikes of it?
Well in full disclosure. I helped invent them and am one of the founders of the company. Soooo, out of respect for the Rokslide I'll do my best to answer real questions honestly, without being too sales driven. I'll start by saying that I live in Montana and am an avid hunter, as is my 17 year old daughter. We designed this after years of frustration with Fiberglass toppers. Once they are on, they are a pain in the ass to take off and store. We also have made them completely tool free, so you dont have to even mount anything to your bed rails. They are simply cam strapped to the tie-down points in the truck. Id say they are designed for the person that doesn't always want a topper on their truck, gives the flexibility to take it off in minutes and light enough to deal with on your own. Also due to the rigid construction you can haul a load on the roof, sit on the roof to glass and made of the same rigid drop stitch as SUP's and Raft floors, so quite durable against daily driving and off roading.

It’s a cool idea man, I just got rid of my fiberglass topper, which I both loved and hated so this fits the bill
I too am curious about the need to refill in colder temps, warranty info, and how abrasion resistant they are?

Also fiberglass are easy to break into as well, i did look at a couple like the smart caps but i hate when I just want to throw my kids dirt bikes in the bed and go ride and not hook up a trailer and crap

We have a bunch of hunting photos that we cant post on our normal social feeds due to the non-hunting crowd!
Bummer you can't post those pics but I get it. I have an inflatable SUP and that material has held up better than I thought it would to going over rocks and hitting other obstacles underwater

True, but it take a little more effort then just a poke of a knife. I ended up with a smart cap. If people want to break into something they will find a way. This Flated is pretty neat idea though since its super easy to take on and off as well as super portable.

Yeah that’s originally what I wanted was a smart cap or expedition truck cap but they are expensive and once they are on it’s pretty much on.

So not quite sure yet what I’m gonna do but I’m leaning towards this flated one

Been on here for years but has never worked
You do realize that after you get ten posts, you still have to be approved and when that comes they will just delete your worthless posts, so you don’t meet the requirements, right?

As to the thread, interesting idea. I will do more research on them because I would like a shell but don’t want to deal with it all the time. Mostly just want something that I can put on when doing trips to keep dust, rain, snow, etc off. Not necessarily looking for security.
