Flated Truck Toppers

I keep an eye there but nothing has popped up. The cold on the windows is my biggest concern. It gets cold where I live. We have had a weeks of negative temps.

Cold is my biggest concern with anything but a hard topper.

Anyone have experience with a Softopper and snow? I can’t fit two cars in my garage so the pickup is outside. We have woken up to 12 inches of snow before.
The cloth material does fine in the bitter cold. The window also does fine if you aren't using it. If you're opening it and folding it, it just gets brittle and can crack. The other option is a mesh back window, but then you'd get a ton of dust in the bed, so I haven't tried it yet.

I have left my truck outside in some pretty good wet snows. I've only had it for a couple years, so I think the biggest was about 10". The metal frame is pretty solid for static loads spread evenly across the top, especially when the material is tight, so I wouldn't be worried about snow load unless you started talking pretty crazy amounts like over 2 ft.

This is very cool.

I have an Opus camper so am well acquainted with the benefits and limitations of inflatable items. I’d love to see one of these in person.

Thank you for the information.

Man i just come to say that @RGMissoula you seem like a stand up dude. You could have jumped on here and tried to sell them hard and never said you were part owner. The fact that you came on here said your an owner and I'll answer any questions without pushing anyone to buy it so far gives you creditibility in my book.
Oh man.. I learned my lesson early-on trying to be a fake in the Tacoma forum. They got nasty. I actually look at this page a lot for my personal hunting info. I just randomly noticed a bunch of web traffic coming in from Rockslide so in my mind it's better to be transparent. We know our product isn't for everyone, for many guys they should buy a full time topper, for some they should buy a softopper. We just invented something different and have put everything into it and it's going well. Just sold our 6000'th topper and our customers are stoked.

I'm happy that I can share some of our hunting content in this space. The social platforms punish us hard if we show any blood or guns in any posts.

@RGMissoula I will just say, your employee Hannah that was at the show in PA is top notch. She answered all my questions and was awesome to deal with. Just waiting for it to warm up in PA before I purchase so its easier to install.

Where are these dealers? Softoppers are in the running and the cheapest I have found them is 11-1200 bucks. If I could get one for 800, that would probably push me that way.
I just did quick search amazon has them for Tacoma's $800 and change. There's a few other's around the same price. The window issue is age old. Jeep soft tops last awhile but as soon as you use them they will scatch no matter how hard you try. The sun tears them up too. They chalk up after a few years. Nature of the beast.

My concern with storing it would be the crease's and if they would crack after time. Living in the desert everything dry's out. Very cool and convienent if you don't run a shell full time.
