If you get a smart cap make sure you use loctite on it. They nylocks nuts will back out on washboard with time.

If your going to get a RTT and have a lifted truck. Id try to get a shell with one built in, to help with center of gravity. (If you wheel often)

Overall I like the decked system. My complaints are: 1. The drawer dividers aren’t very strong. 2. It’s just harder to get stuff up in the bed (I realize this is going to be the case with any raised deck system). The built in step on the ford tailgate is handy for getting up there.

I just ordered one of these for my 25 Ram. Appears to be the same factory as SmartCap but IDK for sure. $1600 ish shipped. Will report back once its on. 40-50 day lead time.

I see for some of these manufacturers is that they only make caps for a 5.5 foot bed for an F150. Not a 6.5 ft bed.

Don't have it yet. Still riding across the ocean. I don't know exactly when it shipped out, but I think I'm still within the window of the quoted lead time of like 40-50 days maybe. So another week or two I assume.
