Anyone have any experience with these, seems nice to be able to put on when you need it and take off when you don’t?

No experience, but very interesting. The storage box would be nice if it could act as a transport cooler for meat. Take up why less space than coolers.

No experience either but my wife thought it would be a good idea for a topper the first time she saw the ad. I don't have a truck yet but thought the air carrier for my subaru could be nice.

Well in full disclosure. I helped invent them and am one of the founders of the company. Soooo, out of respect for the Rokslide I'll do my best to answer real questions honestly, without being too sales driven. I'll start by saying that I live in Montana and am an avid hunter, as is my 17 year old daughter. We designed this after years of frustration with Fiberglass toppers. Once they are on, they are a pain in the ass to take off and store. We also have made them completely tool free, so you dont have to even mount anything to your bed rails. They are simply cam strapped to the tie-down points in the truck. Id say they are designed for the person that doesn't always want a topper on their truck, gives the flexibility to take it off in minutes and light enough to deal with on your own. Also due to the rigid construction you can haul a load on the roof, sit on the roof to glass and made of the same rigid drop stitch as SUP's and Raft floors, so quite durable against daily driving and off roading.

It’s a cool idea man, I just got rid of my fiberglass topper, which I both loved and hated so this fits the bill
I too am curious about the need to refill in colder temps, warranty info, and how abrasion resistant they are?

Also fiberglass are easy to break into as well, i did look at a couple like the smart caps but i hate when I just want to throw my kids dirt bikes in the bed and go ride and not hook up a trailer and crap

Here in Montana I just top it off sometime in November when the Average temps drop, then purge some air in spring when we start getting back into the 70's. I haven't added any air since November and we got down to -30s for a couple days here in FEB.
