I've tried looking online for this answer but am getting conflicting answers. What are the laws in FL for deer muzzle losing season? Are we able to use bolt muzzleloaders if using 209 or black powder? Can we use smokeless powders? I know the laws have changed a lot recently and am hoping someone has some insight. Gonna call FWC tomorrow as well. TIA

Please post up what you find. FL is pretty lax when it comes to muzzleloader regulations, I think just about anything goes, they say it has to be .30 or larger and now you can load propellant from the breech.

Most people shoot pellets and sabots here I believe.

We are pretty lax down here. Ive got a 3-day ml permit.

Will be the first one to say i dont know all the regs. 209 is legal, 777 is legal, sabot is legal. Im good to go.

FWC isn’t the brightest bulb at times. Download the regulations and read em. That way you know what they say not what some guy or gal or they thinks might be right. Some LEOs dont know the rules and run by whatever they think.
