Fishing in high country lake lures

I think most of the good lures have been mentioned. Crappie tubes and power trout worms wacky rigged work good too. Flat fish and phoebes are produces.

Super Duper lure. Behind the bubble, elk hair caddis dry, olive quill nymph wet. Black/yellow Marabou @ ice out, or woolies. Cast it onto the edge of the ice, Pull it off, let is start to sink, get ready to rrrrrumble.

Blk Wooly bugger or Pistol Pete behind a torpedo bobber. Otherwise, Blue Fox Gold size Zero spinner has been invincible.

In addition to the already mentioned, Flatfish lures can be productive too- try the red or black/silver speckled ones.

Not high altitude but a fun canoe trip this weekend. Split shot sinkers were valuable to help cast, flies worked, mepps spinners, wedding band and a lure called an Apex.
