First snow

Northern Minnesota first snow to "stick" this year . Anybody else have any yet ? Heading to Montana next week what's the story up at 8000- 10000 ft ?

I’m open to all methods to encourage people to leave the state but more traffic up north all the time

We got about 3" at our house last week, but as of this morning it's just about gone. Last year we had about 4-5" or so on the last day of summer (all the trees still had their leaves), and it reeked serious havoc with a lot of broken and bent branches. You can still see some of the aftereffects (bent limbs), from last year. This is at about 750' elevation, 8k' elevation up here stays buried in snow year around.

Gees central oregon had a full moon and sunny for deer season. It's suppose to be warm and sunny for another week we could use some snow to quell the fire season.

It was 80 degrees here in Western WA for opening day of modern firearm season today.

Been hot and dry with mostly calm days in central BC 100 miles north of the WA border. No frost at the house yet...watermelons are still growing. Up higher out of the river valley have had frost but there still are leaves on the underbrush and poplars.

Got about 4" or so. That heavy slushy slick shit. Made for an interesting hike in this morning.
