one tiny little storm that barely coated the ground on the days I was out here in Idaho. I think we've had more, but not when I was out.

We had snow on the 10th at sea level. It's gone now though.

Back in the 80s, there’s was a billboard sign in Fargo that said …

“Will the last person leaving Minnesota please shut off the lights”
I’m open to all methods to encourage people to leave the state but more traffic up north all the time 😢

We got about 3" at our house last week, but as of this morning it's just about gone. Last year we had about 4-5" or so on the last day of summer (all the trees still had their leaves), and it reeked serious havoc with a lot of broken and bent branches. You can still see some of the aftereffects (bent limbs), from last year. This is at about 750' elevation, 8k' elevation up here stays buried in snow year around.

Gees central oregon had a full moon and sunny for deer season. It's suppose to be warm and sunny for another week we could use some snow to quell the fire season.

Been hot and dry with mostly calm days in central BC 100 miles north of the WA border. No frost at the house yet...watermelons are still growing. Up higher out of the river valley have had frost but there still are leaves on the underbrush and poplars.

Reporting from Beltrami County in NoMinnie. Photos taken about 30' and 5 miles apart.
