Ok that makes sense. I always enjoy seeing what their flight patterns are. Some make perfect sense like the one you shot, but some don’t at all. I shot a pintail last year that was banded a week before I shot it and had flown hundreds of miles straight north against a major cold front/northern wind to where I was.

Really depends on where you hunt. Lots of sea ducks out beyond the estuaries, and they are not heavily hunted at all ( I only know a couple guys that do).
