I had my bow professionally dialed in, it was not my skill set to manage this precision! I just shoot it.

We also as a group seem to feel confident that a slick trick hits about the same as a field point from most if not every bow made. Well here is the comparison. In case you have ever wondered, a 63 lb draw bow shooting a 425 grain arrow will not pierce a quarter taped to a block target at 25 yards. However, .... a Slick trick will pierce right through it!

I wanna see what a 70-80 lb bow shooting a fast arrow does to a quarter, with a field point and a broad head now! This was with a 270fps arrow. I want to see a cut on contact head do this as well.

It's not the Slick Trick that made that possible. It's fine tuning and good form. One of my peeves is when folks say broadhead XYZ flys or doesn't fly like a field point. It's not the broadhead people. It's the tuned bow and the shooter! These days just about any modern, compact broadhead will fly like a field point with little effort. And if it doesn't, it's not the broadhead's fault.

I will tell you one thing... you put those slick tricks on too weak of an arrow and you are going to be hitting 6 inches right no matter what you do hahaha. That is with any head though.

Cool pics... once I'm done getting the bow set up (new strings) I'll try it. I would say that the field point arrow likely lost a lot of penetration energy by hitting the quarter on the edge. The quarter will rotate out of the direct line of force. The broadhead quarter looks to be center punched - the quarter can not get out of the way of the arrow force...
