Certainly there was no love for Hauck on that thread, but several thought that they wished Vigen had as much emotion/spark as Hauck.

Can't argue with some of that.

It's a heated rivalry that sometimes bring out the worst in people on both sides.

I guess that's why it's such a good one!

I know I take it too seriously sometimes and have to remind myself these kids are 18-22 YO and are likely much better citizens than I was at that age!

I think the local juggernauts are going to have an awakening this post season. (Bison) They went 8-3 this year. (Not to previous standards) They got their butts handed to them by the Jacks, (obviously outclassed by talent), the Yotes (WTH!) and the Hawks! (Double WTH. Gave up 49 points)

Likely will beat Drake. But if the Bobcats can pass, I suspect NDSU's run will end in Bozeman.

The new portal rules have skimmed off much of NDSU's premier talent/prospects. It will take a little time, but it will happen to the Jacks also. (And any other FCS team who thinks they will have a long run of excellence) I don't see any team ever dominating the league again.

Yes, NDSU was decimated by the (stupid damn) portal. That was especially the case on D.

Yeah I agree. I think maybe the emotions got the best of him, but no excuse for a head coach.

Late to find this thread. But IMO he’s been around this long enough to not let the emotions get the best of him. I feel he’s struggled to get them back to what was previously handed to him. I hope they can him in January. Rarely can he say much good about his players in a post game presser.

NDSU coming to Bozeman in the postseason.... That is nightmare memories for cats fans. I was on the team when Wentz came to town and handed the ball off all game long. They ran three plays.. all game and dominated.
Was feeling pretty good about MSU before the brawl, now not so much...

Definitely not the same Bison team(s) of recent history. Very good, no doubt about that, but the fact you guys nearly (well you actually did for abut four minutes!) beat the Jack Rabbits would make feel a little better.

Bozeman stadium is quickly catching up to Grizzly stadium in how hard it is to play there. Home field should play at least some role.

I had to sell my Frisco tickets a couple weeks ago when I noticed that the Dallas Safari Club Convention (which I have to exhibit at) and the game are not on the same weekend this year. They typically overlap nicely. I can't justify flying down there twice in a few days (if SDSU makes it).

Those tickets went fast, and I made a little money on them. The secondary market is likely going to be hot this year with the way things appear to be lining up for SDSU and one of the Montanas. I wish I had bought more than 2 tickets back in September!
