Favorite Instant Pot Recipes?

Super simple but awesome breakfast I make in instapot:

1 cup steel cut oats
2.25 cups water
pressure cook for 4 minutes and let pressure release naturally

about 20-25 minutes total cook time with excellent results (and no stirring). firm oatmeal texture — you can experiment with water ratio to get texture you like. Also scales up/down no problem.

I make a batch every week and eat over several days (microwave next day)

i serve with chopped raw almonds, blueberries, cream, and real maple syrup. Getting hungry thinking about it!

Thanks for this! Just made it and it was excellent

I definitely recommend downloading the instant pot app. And when you get it downloaded look up braised chipotle beef recipe! I've made it a couple of times now and it's really good!
what app are you referring to. When I checked there is a few out there

This one is top tier, and works great with wild pigs.

No recipes to list right now, but the Pot makes easy work on nice baked potatoes and boiled eggs.
We make roasts, stews, and shredded meats in ours frequently.
Love it.

Never thought about making a baked potato in there. Huh. HB Eggs though are a huge hit!

Venison Stew:

Put in...4-6 pieces of bacon,
- 2-3 pounds venison (I mix chunks and burger)
- Enough water to cover it all plus make broth, up to 1/2 full
- Enough salt to give it flavor (can add more later)

Pressure cook for 40 minutes at low pressure.

Add...chopped potatoes
- Chopped onions
- Fresh Celery
- Plenty of mushrooms (I like shitaki)
- Other vegetables that you like

Pressure cook 5-10 minutes low.

I normally eat just like that, usually adding a bit more salt to taste. Sometimes I'll add a little apple juice or red wine to the first cook. Simple is best. No need for more spices if you want to enjoy the flavor of venison and vegetables.

Cold start yogurt has been awesome. I use Lactaid brand milk, a few tablespoons of Greek yogurt (Chobani) with active cultures dissolved in the milk, 10.5 hrs @ 110*, put in the fridge to cool 6-8 hours, strain 4-6 hours, eat. Awesome stuff and better than Chobani even!
