Favorite hand loads 7mm rem mag and 300wsm for elk

Yeh, I'm a huge fan of H1000. The H4831 was a touch slow. Been trying to get IMR4831. Sells out fast .

if I'm going elk or moose hunting I switch to nosler accubonds in my 300wsm.
everything else get 178gr ELDX.

Haven’t shot an elk with it yet. But my Tikka 7 mag shoots 168 VLD Hunting at 3080 FPS using rem brass and Fed 215M primers and 7828 SSC. 1/2-3/4” groups at 100 yards.
