I've hunted with a 30-06 for years but just got a 28 nosler. Once I find some ammo for it(without going bankrupt), it may become my new favorite!

I’ve been married for over 40 years to a woman I’d marry all over again if I had the opportunity. Keep your rifles and get another woman.

My two favorites that I can do everything with:

260 Rem - the M+ magazine on my Tikka is really nice to load bullets out where they belong. Love the accuracy and mild recoil.

35 Whelen - can pretty much do it all from deer to moose.

I would hang on to my 270 and 30-06. I reserve the right to sub my 7RM for the 270 depending on the game animal and terrain. With right the bullet construction and appropriate weight I think I've got my bases covered except for brown bear which I have no interest in ever hunting.
