Is there a factory rifle, threaded for a suppressor, with compact stock for youth? Mostly looking at 7mm-08 cartridge.
Not seeing either of these offering a threaded version.Ruger American, Mossberg Patriot youth
There's an option but I don't think it's offered in 7mm-08T/C Compass I think has a youth model with a threaded barrel.
Similar question, how far back would I need to cut a Tikka Compact 7mm-08 (already 20") for standard thread (5/8 x 24?)
Never owned a Browning, that looks pretty sweet for the kid. I'd pull that muzzle brake off immediately.Browning X-Bolt Micro, got it for my wife and my 10 year old son, they both shoot it very well and it fits them perfectly.

I have a Remington 783 that came with a threaded, heavy barrel in 223. It’s a fun, compact shooter. Cousin has it in a 308. We both bought them because of the factory short and threaded barrel to run suppressed.
The Tikka is a good gun and available In the caliber you’re looking at.
You actually bought Compacts that had factory threaded muzzles? That's interesting if true. What threads?
The Tikka website doesn't list any of the Compacts as having threaded muzzles. My .308 Compact did not come with a threaded muzzle.
I bought this one in a 223. It comes with a 1/2x28 thread. The 308 comes in a 5/8x24 thread. Both have 16.5” barrels.
I don’t own a tikka, only shot a couple! The one I posted a couple post ago shows it’s available in 7mm-08, compact and threaded.I'm real confused now. That doesn't look like any Tikka I've ever seen. That's a Tikka Compact sold in the US?
