Face paint

I don't like to shoot with a face covering, so I'm considering paint. Any suggestions? Clean up is important to me. I don't want to have to take a shower to get it off.
Carbomask sounds good. Anyone use that?

I have used Carbomask for years; it does come off very easily, and it's easy to apply.

Lol, I just grab a fistful of dirt and rub it on the high points of my face (forehead, nose,cheeks, chin). Washes off in a pinch with a damp cloth. Worked well for me to kill plenty of elk and deer in close with a bow.

I picked up a small container of this stuff off Camofire: https://www.hmeproducts.com/3-color-camo-face-paint-kit-with-mirror/.

It is nothing special, but the little mirror is nice especially when I mess with my contacts. It comes off pretty easy with a wet face wipe at camp.

This if I do anything at all. I used to wear point blank black brown for on the ground whitetails and that cleaned up with soap and water or a wet wipe

I have used Hardy Face paint in the past. Works well. Comes off fairly easy

I'm the opposite. I can't bring myself to use face paint, but I'll shoot with a tight fitting face mask all year round. No problems for me.

I’ve always just used some charcoal from the last burn that I find lying around, or barring that I burn one end of a wine cork with a lighter. It’s light, oil-free, and easy to clean

No face covering or paint here. Could just be the young elk I run into but I can’t say I’ve ever been spotted because my face was uncovered.

I used the Carbomask and here is my review. I like it! it's easy to clean off my face with a warm washcloth. It was harder to get off the back of my hands. It did the job of hiding my face, it was harder to see me in my trailcam pics.
I also tried charcoal and it was pretty good too.
Now I gots to shoot something.

Burn a wine cork. It weighs nothing, lasts forever, shows the wind and washes off easy.

I also usually go with the carbomask or burnt wine cork approaches. Since having kids, I always seem to have a packet of wipes in my truck and the carbomask comes right off with a couple wipes, which is super convenient if stopping anywhere on the way home from a hunt.

I use a wine bottle cork. Comes off easily at the truck with a wipe

I just use clearance Halloween makeup. Works like a charm and comes off easy.

If I am on the ground I used paint. I try to use a face mask but I just never feel comfy when Im getting to my anchor. Ive always used the hunters specialty kit, I usually always do the brown and green on my face, ears, and hands. I use some cheap make up removal whips my wife bought. I killed my bear last year at 9 yards from the ground, I painted my face up at 9 am and killed the bear at 6pm. Pretty sure most the face paint was all sweated off my the time of the shot but my face was defiantly not as bright and shiny as it would have been without the paint. I will defiantly check out the carbomusk for future hunts.
