Hi guys, long time ago I acquired 100 lbs of camo fabric. Lots of left overs or low sellers. Been thinking about making a few stuff sacks a try with some of the stuff.

One of the fabrics that really sticks out that will work well is this MARPAT pattern, rip stop, with a coating. Real light weight. Any idea on how durable this type of fabric is? Anyone use something similar?

I made some poncho tarps from a 1.9oz(?) ripstop in ACU that was a greyish solid color on the backside, it was urethane coated. Off hand that stuff looks pretty similar.

I'm really not sure on the weight, but the back definitely looks urethane coated. I think with some nice water resistant YKK zippers, I think it has potential to make some nice pouches!

Looks like the marpat/coyote two-tone they used for the USMC field tarp. I think it is 1.9oz nylon with a heavy coyote PU coating. Should be plenty waterproof, obviously not super sturdy but it should hold up fine for most things; stuff sacks, pull outs, tarps, ponchos, etc.
