Can someone smarter than me explain the difference between the North Face Apex jacket material and Kuiu Toray? I own both and they damn sure seem identical!

Just curious. This is one for fun-no need to start an argument.....

Fabrics are much the same or similar and sometimes made in the sane factories. The above are the differentiating factors usually.. Gore owns Sitka correct? GoreTex is sold for a zillion applications and vendors. Just pick your medicine
